Colorado man dies while fishing in Montana

KALISPELL, Mont. – Sheriff’s officials say a 67-year-old Colorado man has died while fishing in the North Fork of the Flathead River in Montana.
Flathead County sheriff’s officials say a relative who was fishing with the man but in a different spot reported a possible drowning Tuesday afternoon after he couldn’t find the man.
The Flathead Beacon reports rescuers found the man underwater, 100 yards south of Camas Creek. A sheriff’s report says he was wearing waders but not a life jacket.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was under investigation.
The man’s identity wasn’t immediately released.
