Colorado West, Inc., a local provider of behavioral and mental health counseling and therapy, has been commended by the Department of Human Services Office of Behavioral Health’s CSTAT initiative.
The initiative – tasked with statistical benchmarking and identifying best practices in strengthening the health, resiliency and recovery of Coloradans – has identified Colorado West’s outpatient services as first the state for the number of clients completing treatment and for the number of clients reporting significant decrease in symptom severity.
“While gratifying to be recognized for the excellent work our team of professionals provides Coloradans, the most important point to note is that we know treatment works.,” said Sharon Raggio, president and CEO of Colorado West, Inc. “When people seek assistance they do get better. Over the last 4 years we’ve focused on quality care and it shows. We are here to help.”
In addition to client engagement and therapeutic success, Colorado West was also noted for their treatment of substance abuse disorder clients and their ability to keep clients mentally healthy and employable.
