Download Colorado Classic app, stay in touch with new cycling race Aug. 10-13

The best seats in the house for the upcoming Colorado Classic bike race and Velorama Colorado Festival will be those occupied by people who downloaded the official event app to their smartphones, according to a release from event organizers.

“We know Colorado has some of the most cutting-edge consumers in the country and we’re also trying to cut down on the use of paper for our events, so the app is intended to be the ‘official program’ for the race and festival in all three cities,” said Rob Simon, marketing director for RPM Events Group, the outfit created to promote and plan the race. “The app provides a personalized, constantly updated guide to all of the news, information, entertainment and action associated with our first-of-its kind event.”

The Colorado Classic and Velorama Colorado Festival app is available for free in the Apple App Store and via Google Play. It was developed in partnership with Aloompa.
