Prices are guaranteed through April 15. The remainder of a $49 down payment is due in mid-September 2012.

Vail Resorts offers season pass insurance to protect in the event of unexpected circumstances including sickness, injury and job loss.

This year, the company is offering auto renewal for season passes, in which buyers can choose to automatically renew their passes every year, guaranteeing the following season’s lowest price. The program automatically charges $49 down to a credit card each spring, with the remainder charged in the fall for the same product pass holders purchased when initially enrolling in the system. Customers must opt in to the program and may cancel enrollment at any time, prior to the following spring when the $49 down payment is charged.
