Frisco Elementary PTSA says thanks

The Frisco Elementary School PTSA would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many individuals that made this year’s Veterans Day event on Nov. 12, a memorable celebration.

Our 20 + veterans whose service was wide ranging, included grandparents, parents, friends, out of town guests, and neighbors of our students. The veterans shared their experiences, their views on being an American, and participated in an all school assembly honoring all military personnel.

The event’s success was due to the tireless efforts of Paula Pearcey, the FRE staff, the 1st grade singers, Jon Clark, Girl Scout Troop #2835 and of course the many parent volunteers that brought the event together. We would like to extend a special thank you to Tuscato’s Ristorante Italiano for the delicious catered lunch for our Veterans and to Breckenridge Crane for the use of their enormous American flag that served as the perfect backdrop for our event. With kind regards,

Jo-Anne Tyson,
