Henry: Save Keystone school
Ryan Summerlin January 23, 2013
The Keystone Science School has been successfully educating students and teachers for some 35 years. It is now embarking on a new direction – that is separating from The Keystone Center and becoming a local 501-(c) 3 organization. This requires substantial community support as Keystone Science School purchases the 23 acre parcel of land on which they are now located.
The positive economic impact of the School on Summit County (over $2 million annual budget), the success of unbiased science education and the relationship with the Summit School District are a few of the important reasons why the community should support this investment.
We hope you will take the time to investigate this establishment of an independent Keystone Science School and join us in supporting it financially.
