Lawrence: Enjoyable Breckenridge town party

Elisabeth Lawrence, Breckenridge

Thank you to the Town of Breckenridge and the Breckenridge Resort Chamber for providing one of the best “town parties” that I can remember. The Lighting of Breckenridge was never intended to be a town party, but that is exactly what it ended up being. It was so fun seeing friends and neighbors dressed in Santa costumes for the run. My daughter and her friends had a wonderful time chasing the hilarious talking Christmas trees up and down the street. Adults chatted in the middle of a closed Main Street while children ran around in total bliss. Bernese mountain dogs were all over the place having their pictures made and giving our town even more of a special feel. I left that night with a full heart and immense gratitude for the place that I am able to call home. A much deserved thank you to the Town of Breckenridge and the BRC for filling our hearts with the spirit of community this holiday season.
