Today’s top five things to do in Summit County

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area will host the eighth-annual Fireman’s Fire Hose Relay on Friday, Feb. 28, to benefit the Burn Camps Program at The Children’s Hospital of Colorado. Fire departments from across Colorado team up to participate in a unique slalom-style event. Teams of five firefighters race down a 15-gate slalom course while holding on to 50 feet of fire hose. And you can’t miss them — all participants have to dress in their bunker jacket and fire helmet. The event takes place on lower High Noon trail from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The best views are from the south end of the A-frame from the Perch or A-frame deck. Visit www.arapahoebasin.com for more information.
