Breckenridge Spring Fever Festival

Breckenridge, March 31 to April 27

8:30 a.m., Breckenridge Ski Resort, Peak 8 Base Area, T- Bar Restaurant, 1599 Ski Hill Rd. The biggest spring party in the Rocky Mountains is back. Breckenridge Ski Resort’s annual ‘Spring Fever’ month-long festival will again return to Breck to end ski season with a bang, and will feature a series of events both on the mountain and in town.

USASA Nationals

Copper Mountain, March 31 to April 2

All Day, Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. The United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association National Championships is the largest snowboard and free skiing event on the earth welcoming top athletes from around the nation to compete for the title of National Champion.

Bubble Gum Ski Race Series

Frisco, March 31

5-6 p.m., Frisco Adventure Park, 621 Recreation Way. Races are not timed, but instead participants are given pieces of bubble gum which they keep or give away based on their race finishes. Geared towards children between the ages of 5-14. Race are free, and on race days, registration is open from 4-5 p.m. inside the Frisco Adventure Park Day Lodge. Racers must provide their own ski equipment and helmets in order to race. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served at the Day Lodge post-race.

Snowshoe Hike in French Gulch

Breckenridge, March 31

10 a.m., French Gulch Trail Head. Hike through Breckenridge’s fabled Golden Horseshoe, the location of dozens of early mining operations. Along the way are scenic views and former mine sites. Weather permitting, call for reservations and pricing.

Free Copper Ambassador Mountain Tours

Copper Mountain, March 31 to April 6

10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. Come and join the Copper Mountain Ambassadors every day for a free mountain tour. Meet at the hut by top of the American Eagle chair.
