Three20south in Breckenridge will host Terrapin Flyer, with Melvin Seals from the Jerry Garcia Band and Mark Karan from Ratdog, on Sunday, Jan. 26. For the past 14 years, Terrapin Flyer has been performing with a revolving cast of some of the finest musicians in the Grateful Dead family and continuing the tradition of bringing the familiar music of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band to bold new improvisational places. The current iteration features a 15-year alumnus of the Jerry Garcia Band and the guitarist who replaced Jerry Garcia when they reformed as The Other Ones, as well as Wavy Dave Burlingame from the popular bluegrass band Cornmeal. Doors open at 9 p.m., and tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Visit www.three20south.com for more information.

She is a graduate of Wichita State University and formerly a reporter for the Omaha-World Herald. Kathy is now directing her talents toward mixed-media acrylic and ink painting. In her new media Kathy has created beautiful paintings of Aspen trees, she also specializes in pet portrait character painting. She has brought one of her own portraits of her and her cocker spaniel, Moose. Stop by and check out her beautiful paintings! She’s also offered to do pet portraits for anyone interested!
