Open Mic with Moose

Snowshoe Hike in French Gulch

Breckenridge, Feb. 10

10 a.m., French Gulch Trail Head, Breckenridge. Hike through Breckenridge’s fabled Golden Horseshoe, the location of dozens of early mining operations. Along the way are scenic views and former mine sites. Weather permitting, call for reservations and pricing.



Stupid Cupid Party

Silverthorne, Feb. 10

3:30 p.m., North Branch – Summit County Library, 651 Center Circle, Silverthorne. All middle and high school students are invited to the Stupid Cupid Party at the North Branch Library, Silverthorne on Monday, Feb. 10 beginning at 3:30 p.m. Snacks, games and chocolate will be provided to all the Un-Valentine participants. Women’s Beyond Beginner Skate Ski Clinic Drop-in

Breckenridge, Feb. 10

9:30 a.m., Gold Run Nordic Center, 200 Clubhouse Drive, Breckenridge. This three-week series of skate ski classes are designed to advance your skating techniques. Take your skills to the next level by testing your endurance, increasing your efficiency and reducing your effort. The clinic is taught by women for women. No refunds for missed classes. Drop-ins are welcome for $25 per clinic, depending on availability. Days: Mondays Times: 9:30-11 a.m. Dates: Feb. 3-17 Drop-in Fee: $25 per class. (970) 453-1734.

Daily Group Nordic Ski Lessons

Breckenridge, every day

10 a.m., Gold Run Nordic Center, 200 Clubhouse Dr., Breckenridge. Lessons are offered daily at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Lessons last 1-1.5 hours. Classic or skate lessons are available; beginner to advanced levels. Lessons cost $45 per person and additional persons within the same party are $35. Complimentary trail pass is included, rentals are available for half price. Reservations are highly recommended. Walk-ins are welcome based on instructor availability.
