The Town of Silverthorne is a beautiful place where not only the visitors can brag about where they’ve been but the locals can too. Surrounded by Colorado’s Rocky Mountains and opportunity, Silverthorne is thriving with popularity. There are various activities for the family as well as for the self-ranging. The wide array outings take place outdoors in the fresh air, as well as intricate activities like shopping.

Silverthorne has year-round activities that anyone can participate in – making it a great community. Mountain enthusiast couples host weddings at the Nordic Center where cross-country skiing is offered daily during the winter. There’s an ice rink that families can visit during the winter and a skate park for the summer months. Drop off your wannabe pro golfers at the Raven Golf Club while the rest entertain themselves by spending the day shopping at the Silverthorne Outlets.

Guests can start their day by visiting the Silverthorne Recreation Center to get their energy up and release some of those desired endorphins. Some of the best activities in Silverthorne take place outside. During all the hustle and bustle, don’t forget to take in the scenery and take a walk along the Blue River where you can fish or follow the water as you go for a quick run.

Take advantage of the Dillon Ranger District to get a sense of all the best hikes and camping spots and visit the beautiful nearby Gore Range or Eagle’s Nest fully prepared. Once the sun is setting and it’s almost time to head home, stop by the Silverthorne Pavilion and relax after a day of excursions or watch a show at the Lake Dillon Theatre Co. to unwind bringing a perfect ending to a perfect day.
