Mark Allen Gage, 53, of Summit Cove died suddenly on Aug. 29 in Breckenridge. He worked as the community development director and senior planner for the town of Frisco since 1994. Mark was also a ski patroller at Loveland for 24 years, including many years as the Rocky Mountain Division Alpine Toboggan supervisor and trainer.

He was most proud of his wonderful daughters, and loved cooking for his family and friends. His other passions included mountain biking with his buddies, woodworking, bike-building, traveling and reading. He is survived by his wife, Karen, daughters Riley and Haley, parents Jean (Hank) Smith, Jim (Susan) Gage, siblings Dana and Blake (Pam), dog, Boo and many relatives.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Mark’s life at the Loveland Basin Lodge on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. An educational fund for his daughters has been set up at Credit Union of the Rockies, Frisco.
