Ryan Summerlin November 5, 2012
Rod Chisholm was the father of Janis Chisholm Bunchman and the father-in-law of Rick Bunchman of Breckenridge.
Rod and his wife Joanne began coming to Breckenridge in 1960 when his brother Neil Chisholm built a house in Breckenridge on Goldflake Street in the Weisshorn. Rod and Joanne were in Breckenridge frequently after Janis moved to Breckenridge in 1972 and was the fourth-grade teacher at Breckenridge Elementary School. She and Rick were married at St. Mary’s church in 1973. Rod and Joanne enjoyed the small ski town and the community of Breckenridge. When they were in Breckenridge they were active in the community events and supported activities that Janis and Rick were involved in with the Summit School District, the Breckenridge Music Festival, Bunchman Real Estate, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Father Dyer Methodist Church along with their grandchildren’s, Leslie, Mark and Michael’s activities.
