Diamond Pet Foods has recalled some brands of dry dog and cat food manufactured between Dec. 9, 2011, and April 7 due to potential salmonella contamination. While the company’s website says the food was not distributed to Colorado, it is possible the food may have been further distributed through pet food channels, it stated. Numerous brands were affected, including Kirkland Signature, Canidae, Taste of the Wild and Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul. For more brands and production codes to watch out for, go to
