Richardson: Romney supporters contradict their advise
Ryan Summerlin September 25, 2012
I just finished reading two letters to the Summit Daily from Romney supporters that encourage readers to just “use common sense” and “your intelligence to cut through the misinformation” related to the economy. Then they both went on to contradict their advise by providing amateur economic analysis to support their biased perspective related to why you should vote for Mr. Romney. Neither writer points out the huge economic malaise we were in when President Obama took office and how he has turned that around by adding 4.6 million private sector jobs in the last 29 months and how he saved another million jobs in the auto industry. For a professional economic analysis that’s also easy to understand, let me suggest that the reader access the following articles on the Web written by Nobel prize- winning economist Paul Krugman: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/01/opinion/krugman-the-austerity-agenda.html; http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/27/opinion/money-for-nothing.html; http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/27/opinion/money-for-nothing.html.
