Re: “Kathleen Curry a good candidate for HD61,” by Margery Feldberg, letters, Sept. 18
We can certainly understand the position Ms. Curry has passed on to the public. It is very evident she is a Democrat. In 1990 there were enactments passed on to save the water at all levels – to conserve the use of water. In 1995 all toilets installed had to be 1.6 gal per flush. Thus even Congress was aware and concerned about water waste. Today the largest amount of water used in residual use are spas – try drinking used sap water or domestic use of this water – no way.
Oil gas-coal-minerals: These items listed are the largest taxpayers in all of the USA. Try over $1 taxes on each gallon of gas used state and federal taxes – How many miles do most people use for pleasure?
E.P.A regulations: Please understand Obama has spent over 10 trillion dollars of all taxpayers money in just 3 years. This included great dollar amounts in solar industries – and other dream ideas – which fits his fantasies. Remember Congress is the govern of EPA – until Obama came along. Many dollar decisions made in this administration has been by Obama and his staff of C-Zars. Not Congress.
Ms. Curry is right but not very well-informed by people who have informed her of this article – how expensive her programs would be with no knowledge of the new programs success. She really will spend the taxpayers money with no guarantee of results
Thus the billions Obama has already lost on windmills and solar energy. The end result is let the USA save money and become the country we all love again. World War II vet and very concerned citizen.
