SAGE family & educator event tonight in Keystone

Summit Advocates for Gifted Education (SAGE) presents the inaugural fall family and educator event at the Keystone Center tonight from 6-8.There will be a presentation by Barbara Mitchell Hutton on asynchronous development in gifted and talented children. This presentation is free of charge and is geared toward educators and parents. There will also be a children’s program on wildlife ecology presented by the Keystone Science School ($15 per child). Asynchronous development is uneven development in intellectual, social, emotional, and/or physical areas, and is common in gifted and talented children. Hutton is the founder and former head of the Rocky Mountain School for the Gifted and Creative in Boulder. Hutton is a highly sought-after speaker and consultant for parents, teachers and others who work with and care about the education and life of gifted children and adults.
