Town of Frisco putting league takes flight

Summit Daily/Janice KurbjunFrom left to right, Steve Howes, Jeremy Bryson and Chris Gray toss discs into the baskets from close proximity. Disc golfers have an opportunity to gather at the Frisco Day Lodge on Tuesday nights for the newest activity addition, the putting league. The main room of the lodge provides the 10-meter distance for a regulation putting circle, and typically those attending play a game similar to cornhole. It's running for another seven weeks, from 7-9 p.m. Admission is $5 per night, and drinks and refreshments are sold during the session. Originally designed as a competitive league, it's since been toned down into a casual gathering for avid players and novices alike. Call disc golf coordinator Jeremy Bryson at (970) 668-2558 for more information.
