Need a little inspiration in your life? Join us tonight at 7 at the Main Library, Frisco, as four Colorado authors discuss their craft and read from their works, followed by an audience Q&A. Meet Beth Groundwater, “Wicked Eddies”; Greg Hill, “East of Denver”; Paula Scanland, “A Suffering Heart”; and Mark Stevens, “Antler Dust.” This event is part of our “Elect to Read” fall reading program for adults, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Summit County Libraries. For more info on this or other upcoming events or programs, or to learn about volunteer opportunities, call Joyce Dierauer, at (970) 668-5555 or contact her by email at firstname.lastname@example.org; or simply come by and visit with us at any of our three locations, in Frisco, Breck and Silverthorne.
The town of Frisco is offering the cost of an energy audit for multi-family boards or homeowners associations that apply to the High Country Conservation Center. If the audit shows promising energy and cost savings, another $2,000 is available toward upgrades. This is a first-time program and we are looking for leads on multi-family housing in need of this service. Think your housing organization might benefit from an upgrade? Give us a call at (970) 668-5703 or email Lynne at email@example.com.
The 14th annual Make a Difference Day is Saturday. Volunteers and sites needed! Join a day of service and give back to Summit County. Free breakfast, lunch and T-shirt giveaway for volunteers.
