Summit Up 1-10-13: Coat for kids

Summit Up
FIRC and the Knights of Columbus warmed Summit County kids with new winter coats recently. This event was made possible by the generosity of numerous donors in Summit County: Hudson Auto, Bank of the West, City Market, Walmart, Krystal 93, Dillon Ridge Liquors, Breckenridge Grand Vacations, Breckenridge Building Center, The Elks Lodge, Centura Health, St. Mary's Catholic Church and parishioners, St. John's Episcopal Church parishioners, Fr. Dyer's United Methodist Church, and Synagogue of the Summit. These contributors and countless other Summit residents and visitors, demonstrated the true meaning of 'in service to one, in service to all!' If you would like to support the "Coats for Kids Campaign,' please send your tax-deductible donation payable to the Knights of Columbus, P.O. Box 3673, Dillon, CO 80435.

As a Summit Daily News reader, you make our work possible.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
