Ryan Summerlin November 22, 2012
Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column that’s working on Thanksgiving so all our peeps here on the Summit will have something fresh to peruse this morning with their morning coffee.
In honor of this here traditional holiday, we thought we’d give y’all a few fun Turkey Day facts. Ahem, here it goes.
> In the U.S., roughly 280 million turkeys are sold for the annual celebration. Dang, that’s a heck of a lot of bird.
> Each year, the average American eats somewhere between 16-18 pounds of turkey.
We could go on and on and on. But alas, we’re almost out of room. Go forth and have a great weekend. We out.
