Summit Up 3-27-13: Lowdown, dirty rascals
Ryan Summerlin March 27, 2013
Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column that just can’t believe the gall of some people.
We received this Scum Alert!! Scum Alert!! with a not-so-pretty picture of the crime described. Sarah Demchak from Breckenridge had this to say:
“Hi there, I’m not sure who best to contact, but there is a Scum Alert in Breckenridge. Between midnight and 7 a.m. on March 26, someone pulled five 2×6’s from a garden bed on Ridge Street near the Brown in Breck then proceeded to put one 2×6 through my truck cap window! Who does something like that? Scum …
“I’ve attached a nice pic for you. If anyone hears of anything, call or email!!”
We feel your pain, Sarah, and may a thousand pointy arrows of bad karma come to the lowdown, dirty rascals who choose to steal, vandalize and tread upon the good name of the county’s residents.
If you have any information about the incident, you can contact Sarah at (720) 308-3361 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
On a brighter note, it seems that it’s nearly time Major League Baseball’s opening day, the one day a year when even the most casual of fans can revel in over 14 decades of history and finally lay the Rockies’ franchise-worst season to rest.
Well, that’s about all we’ve got room for today. Until tomorrow …
