Last week a Dillon business dedicated to providing quality hair care services celebrated its official grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
But Bella Pella Salon Bar is much more than a place to get a haircut or a coloring. It’s also a place where a client, if so inclined, can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer while getting pampered.
“Many places in bigger cities offer beer,” said Bella Pella Salon Bar co-owner Janey Monnaville. “We wanted to be the first in Summit County to offer something unique to go along with our hair services.”
First opened on Aug. 1, Bella Pella Salon Bar, 256 Dillon Ridge Road, Unit b-21, in Dillon, not only focuses exclusively on hair care services, but also features a deck with some of the best views of Summit County, as well as a bar stocked with Colorado micro-brews and wine. Coffee and tea also are available for the a.m. crowd.
After working together for about 12 years, Monnaville and co-owner Angie Anthony decided it was time to go into business for themselves. Their team, consisting of Deanna Campbell, Laura Glise and Michelle Pytel, have as much as 16 years of experience in the industry and stay educated on the latest fashion trends, Anthony said.
Featuring Goldwell hair products and some of the best views in Dillon, Monnaville described Bella Pella Salon Bar as a place with a mellow vibe where its team of professionals can pamper clients.
“We are dedicated to making Summit County beautiful one head at a time,” Monnaville said.
Located on Dillon Ridge Road above Edward Jones, on the second floor of the building to the east of Alpine Bank, Bella Pella Salon Bar is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. For more information or to make an appointment, call 389-1975.
Although the ribbon cutting took place last week, a grand opening party is scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 14.
