Wellness in winter in Summit County

The Harmony Health Winter Wellness series is offering free classes throughout the month of December in Breckenridge. Inanna Hall, owner of Harmony Health massage and creator of the wellness series, brought together local experts for the series.
“It’s been an idea that’s been bubbling up inside me for some time,” Hall said.
Several classes have already occurred, including an informative session about low laser light therapy, and Hall’s class on the energy transferring technique of Sai Maa Diksha.
“It’s important for our community to have awareness that we have options that are holistic,” said Hall. “In our community, I feel we’re open-minded and have a super strong athletic component.”
The classes are held in the space at Meta Yoga Studios. They are free and open to the public. Donations are welcome and will be presented to a local charity at the end of the series.
Winter wellness is the second series put on by Hall and her peers. The first took place at the end of August. Donations went to the Summit Prevention Alliance.
Upcoming classes include a discussion about ancient health formulas, talks on meditation and an overview on the science of intuition.
“We have quite a diverse community of talented people,” Hall said, “which is the reason I’ve chosen the people that I’m working with.”
The series will culminate Dec. 21, which is the winter solstice, with a dance party. The point of the party is to offset the serious tone of the classes and have a little fun, said Hall. “To really get together and be in our health and be in our vitality and in our openheartedness.”
