Beeler: Thanks for Summit County’s first responders (letter)

It goes without saying that police officers, firefighters and rescue personnel do not get enough recognition for their commitment to serve and protect us.

Last week, at four in the morning, I was driving myself to the emergency department in Frisco with a major headache. A half a mile from the hospital, I was pulled over by Officer Aaron Trainor. He quickly realized my situation and followed me to the ER, contacting them to let them know I was coming.

I just want to personally thank him for assisting me when I was in such pain! When any of these community service people are there for you, let them know how much they are appreciated. They put their lives in harm’s way every day for us!
