Keystone Resort is becoming more than what it’s been, which is hard to do when you are three peaks deep.

The buzz word the last couple years has been evolution. It’s a philosophy more than a word, one that has seen Keystone embrace new-school culture with the enormous Area 51 Terrain Park and expand into Erickson and Bergman bowls with snowcat tours.

Add in some renewed energy at the base village, and Keystone is changing for the better.

But the same terrain that has always made the three peaks ” Dercum Mountain, North Peak and the Outback ” so much fun to ride continues to be Keystone’s biggest draw.

The smooth, fall-line runs on the front side provide some of the most consistent intermediate skiing in Summit County. Head back to North Peak for a series of long mogul runs that will have your legs burning and heart pumping.

Beyond that is the Outback, Keystone’s glade capital and launching point for its two in-bounds bowls ” North Bowl and South Bowl.

There’s nothing frighteningly steep here, but there’s enough pitch to keep the advanced skier coming back for more.
