South Park Historical Foundation hosts its annual History Days Weekend Saturday, Aug. 13 and Sunday, Aug. 14 in Fairplay. An annual two-day event to visit a restored 1880s mining town with cowboys, bank/railroad robberies, humorous western skits, miners, mountain men, and town’s people dressed in 1880s costumes. This special event offers fun for the entire family, while learning about life during Colorado’s early times. In South Park City you’ll feel like you were transported back in time, or on the set of a Western movie. All day admission price for adults is only $10, for seniors $8, and for children 6-12 $4.
