FRISCO — Author Carmen Rubino will visit Next Page Books and Nosh on Friday for a book reading and signing event on her new novel, “Ddraig Chronicles: Reclaim.”

The Coloradan’s book focuses on an archaeologist, her dog and three other companions that are tasked to reclaim hidden talismans created by dragons long ago. However, a rogue dragon may beat them to their goal.

When not grading high school mathematics tests, Rubino enjoys developing alternative explanations for the world with fiction. She has been addicted to reading since high school and rates it as her top vice.

The free event happens on Friday, Oct. 4, from 5:30–7 p.m. at Next Page Books and Nosh, 409 E. Main St, Frisco.
