To preview Alpenglow Chamber Music Festival’s 22nd fall season, the organization will have their co-artistic directors, internationally acclaimed Rieko Aizawa and Jesse Mills, perform a soirée piano and violin concert on Saturday, June 15.

Aizawa and Mills will perform Schubert’s Sonatina for violin and piano in A Minor and Franck’s Sonata for violin and piano in A Major. The concert will be at an intimate setting at a private home in Silverthorne. Guests are greeted with a Champagne welcome and invited to mingle with the artists after the performance over wine, dinner appetizers and dessert.

Aizawa has performed with Alpenglow since its inception in 1998. She and Mills have been co-artistic directors since 2011. They will return in September with a lineup of fellow internationally acclaimed musicians for a series of two concerts and two soirées throughout the month.

Because the location is a residence, seating is limited. Advance purchase of $85 tickets is encouraged by visiting AlpenglowChamberMusic.org or by calling 970-797-4999. The address of the venue and directions will be given once tickets are bought.
