Breckenridge Distillery to celebrate 10th anniversary this week

The Breckenridge Distillery is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week with a series of events Thursday-Saturday.
Special to the Daily

Breckenridge Distillery is celebrating 10 years in business this week, kicking things off on Thursday with a handful of accomplished chefs alternating dishes in a six-course tasting menu at the distillery.

Thursday’s dinner is sold out, but the 10-year celebration is coming with the release of a special batch of whiskey — Batch 1 of Sauternes Finish Whiskey — on Friday.

People are invited to stop by the distillery at 1925 Airport Road or its tasting room at 137 S. Main Street, both in Breckenridge, for two complimentary tastings of the special whiskey, available exclusively at the Breckenridge Distillery and the Main Street Tasting Room. Quantities are limited, but the cost is free to anyone 21 years of age and up.

On Saturday, the 10th anniversary party will go all day long with an invitation for people to join the distillery’s team for a History of Breckenridge Distillery talk, a Dark Arts tasting and a VIP tour and tasting with CEO and founder Bryan Nolt.

Festivities also include a chocolate and spirits pairing; complimentary tastings of a limited edition 10th anniversary whiskey bottle release; cocktail class with liquid chef Billie Keithley; and live music from Guerrilla Fanfare, Frisco Funk Collective and more.
