Catch children-friendly concerts at the Kidtopia Music Experience

March, one of Keystone’s snowiest months, will be welcomed with the annual Kidtopia Music Experience. The daily event lasts through March 10 with outdoor music performances, pop-up concerts, firework displays and other activities.

On Friday kids can learn about snow at Kidtopia HQ from 1-2 p.m. and participate in Riparoo’s milkshake social from 4:30-5:30 on the second floor of Mountain House.

Saturday, Kidtopia HQ will have crafts and face painting from 12:30–2:30 before the Guerilla Fanfare Brass Band performs in River Run from 3:30–5:30, followed by fireworks at 7.

The popular duo Koo Koo Kanga Roo will headline the free Snow Pants Dance Party on Saturday, March 9.

The party begins at 2 p.m. with the 6 Million Dollar Band, described as Colorado’s premier party band with high-energy ’80s new wave dance hits. The Brothers of Brass, a Denver-based horn and drum outfit, lead Keystone’s Village Parade at 4 p.m. through River Run Village prior to headlining act Koo Koo Kanga Roo taking the stage at 4:15 p.m.

Koo Koo Kanga Roo, known for catchy pop melodies and infectious dance beats, have toured with Frank Turner, The Aquabats, MC Lars and Yo Gabba Gabba Live.

They aren’t the only groups performing, so visit for the full schedule of Kidtopia Music Experience events.
