On Saturday, April 20, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area is having an Earth Day party to highlight carpooling and sustainability.

The first several hundred people who show up with three or more passengers in their car will receive Darn Tough Socks, Clif Bars and raffle tickets for the après party at 3 p.m. in Mountain Goat Plaza. The party will have drawings and all proceeds benefit Protect Our Winters.

Additionally, a scavenger hunt will educate participants on how A-Basin makes the mountain more sustainable. If a team successfully fills out their passport they win a prize. It costs $20 per two-person teams and $5 for each additional member.

The hunt runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and registration is on-site at the Arapahoe Basin tent in the base area.
