BIFA: Photos from Day 1 in Breckenridge

Blue skies and pleasant crowds greeted day one of the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts on Friday, Aug. 12. Musicians played instruments in the Riverwalk Center while trail users found art installations and musicians along three trails in town for the Trail Mix series. Crowds formed a line outside of David Dimitri's L'Homme Cirque more than 20 minutes before the show even started. As the one-man circus performer went through his show, children in the tent laughed and smiled through his performances, and Dimitri left everyone gasping and clapping after shooting himself out of a human cannon.

Day two will feature more performances by Dimitri, The Swarm and Herd art displays by Tasha Lewis, Sila: The Breath of the World featuring Breckenridge Music Festival musicians and more.
