Main Street to the Rockies Art Festival, hosted by the town of Frisco and produced by Howard Alan Events, returns Aug. 13–14. This two-day outdoor summer art show allows festival patrons to explore the work of 100 leading contemporary artists in one setting. The festival features original artwork in diverse artistic media and styles. Prices will be suitable to a variety of budgets and appeal to art enthusiasts, collectors as well as the casual shopper. Admission is free and open to the public.
To better accommodate patrons and enhance the experience, portions of Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. The public is encouraged to engage the artists to gain a better understanding of their work. All exhibitors will be present for the duration of the show and welcome the opportunity to discuss their creative process and techniques.
Along with this show, Howard Alan Events produces several art shows throughout Colorado that attract tourists and collectors from all over the world. This year the Colorado summer tour included the debut of the Keystone River Run Village Art Festival (July 30–31), the 29th annual Beaver Creek Art Festival (Aug. 6 – 7) and the second annual Yampa River Fine Art Stroll (Aug. 20 – 21).
