Lake Dillon Tavern presents Dassaro x Jeraff (DxJ), Friday June 24. DxJ is a Denver based MC/DJ duo that blends unique styles of dance infused samples along with hip-hop beats, creating a sound that is individual, energetic and delivers soul. The collective has made a big name for themselves at a rapid speed in the Colorado music scene. Joining DxJ for the night is Transfer station, a electronic/rock/funk/hip hop duo DJ/guitar duo, from Denver. Doors open at 9 p.m. and there is a $5 cover. Cody Wayne will play The Brown Hotel in Breckenridge on Friday, June 17. Local musician Cody Wayne is a singer/songwriter. His shows bring in local artists to paint, build or create live onstage. Nicky Z brings one-man show to Keystone
The Snake River Saloon hosts Nicky Z on Friday, June 17. Nicky Z has been performing music for the better part of 30 years entertaining the Denver area and many other parts of Colorado. Formed in Autumn of 2015, the five piece groove, soul, rock group, Zuma Road, draws from a wide range of musical influences to sonically provide the same sort of adventure as a trip through the Colorado mountainsides. There's no telling what could be around the next corner, but you can be sure it will be absolutely beautiful. The show is from 9 p.m. to midnight, no cover. Town Cavalry from Vail will perform at the Snake River Saloon on Saturday, June 18. Town Cavalry brings the party with a smooth and steady rhythm section coupled with virtuosity guitar solos and strong vocal harmonies. Town Cavalry plays a mixed bag of covers including, Derek Trucks, Bob Marley, Sublime, Edgar Winter, Led Zeppelin and a few soulful originals. Doors open at 4 p.m., and the music starts at 9:30. DooWop Denny returns
DooWop Denny will play the Blue Spruce in Frisco on Sunday afternoons from 4–7 p.m. A lifelong musician, he draws from a deep vein of '50s/'60s/'70s rock 'n' roll history to deliver an authentic, high-energy show, guaranteeing smiling faces and plenty of excitement on the dance floor. With his guitar and vocals linked to a synthesizer, he creates a big-combo sound that seems to "melt the years away" for the over-50 generation. Home based in Florida most of the year, this is Denny's 17th summer performing at The Blue Spruce and other venues in Summit County. Call (970) 668-5900 for more information.
