The town of Dillon hosts a free show with Bonfire Dub at the Amphitheatre Friday night. Bonfire Dub plays a deep and powerful blend of roots music — original songs with rich melodies, featuring down tempo, acoustic laced and electric steel driven reggae, folk and dub. Show starts at 7 p.m.

Local band to play in Keystone



The Snake River Saloon hosts High Five on Friday, July 8. High Five plays a little bit of everything, from unique covers and danceable originals to blue-grassy, jazzy, rocky, jammy mountain music. However, if there’s one thing that never changes, it’s the general feeling of “good times with good friends” that constantly persists throughout each and every High Five show. Funk in Frisco

The Barkley Ballroom hosts Funk Trek on Saturday. Funk Trek is one of the few funk bands out of Omaha. This nine-piece band, with a four-piece horn section, packs an intense, high-energy, funky live show that will be your workout for the day. Motown in Silverthorne

Ron Ivory & One on One will play the first Sunset at the Summit Concert Series in Rainbow Park in Silverthorne on Saturday. The band showcases Motown, classical soul and old school rhythm and blues. The free show starts at 7 p.m.

Dillon hosts Slim Cessna’s Auto Club

The outdoor concerts continue at Dillon Amphitheatre with Slim Cessna’s Auto Club on Saturday at 7 p.m. It has been 24 years since Slim Cessna parted ways with The Denver Gentlemen, that grand progenitor of the peculiar strain of Gothic Americana unique to the Mile High City, to form Slim Cessna’s Auto Club with a group of talented peers. Free show.

Happy hour music at Keystone Lodge & Spa

Music five days a week at Blue River Bistro

Start the week at Blue River Bistro on Sunday with free live music from guitarist and vocalist Rob Wivchar. Mark Schlaefer brings his delta blues to the Blue River Bistro on Monday and Wednesday. The Blue River Bistro in Breckenridge welcomes the Jerry Weiss Duo on Tuesday and the Jerry Weiss Trio on Thursday. The music runs from 5-10 p.m., and there’s no cover. Barkley’s hosts Bluegrass Wednesdays

Steepland will play Bluegrass Wednesdays this week at The Barkley Ballroom in Frisco. Steepland is a fast driving, hard picking acoustic quartet that explores a vast multitude of musical genres, while managing to stay rooted in bluegrass tradition. Formerly known as ‘The Hot Licks,” the band was created around the love for, and dedication to, live music, and since then has been creating a unique style, while managing to carve a niche in a genre of increasingly similar sounds. Concert series continues in Frisco

Face will play Frisco’s Concert in the Park on Thursday, July 14. Face is an internationally recognized vocal rock band based out of Boulder. Using just four singers and a vocal drummer, Face creates a rock-music phenomenon that has to be seen to be believed — no instruments and no special effects -– just five guys. The free outdoor show at the Frisco Historic Park is from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

Two bands, one venue

The Barkley Ballroom hosts local band High Five and Joint Point on Thursday, July 14. Hailing from the mountains of southern Colorado, and built on the strength of their original and improvisational musical adventures, Joint Point is quickly becoming a coveted commodity for the hungry Colorado music scene.
