Stop by to find a book for your summer vacation or for back-to-school needs, as well as CDs, books on tape and DVDs.
On Friday, Aug. 7, pay $2 for hardcover books, DVDs and books on CD and $1 for paperbacks and books on cassette. On Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., all hardcover books, DVDs and books on CD are $1. Books on cassette and paperbacks are 50 cents before 3 p.m. Videos sell for 50 cents on Friday and for 25 cents on Saturday before 3 p.m.
The book sale also will host a “Bag of Books” time from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8. The bags cost $3, or two bags can be filled for $5. The money generated from the book sale will provide much-needed funds for the libraries and is used to sponsor programs that benefit both residents of and visitors to Summit County.
The library needs volunteers for the sale, which runs from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8. In addition, help is requested during the takedown process, which will begin promptly at 5 p.m. at the completion of the sale on Saturday.
Volunteers can call the Main Library at (970) 668-5555.
