"Paradise Island," painting by Jan Whitney. Main Street to the Rockies Art Festival, hosted by the town of Frisco and produced by Howard Alan Events, continues Aug.14. This two-day outdoor summer art show allows festival patrons to explore the work of 100 leading contemporary artists in one setting. The festival features original artwork in diverse artistic media and styles. Admission is free, event is located in downtown Frisco on Main Street.

L'homme Cirque

Breckenridge, Aug. 14

11 a.m. 2 p.m. & 5 p.m., South Gondola Lot, 203 N. main St. L'homme Cirque is a one-man circus featuring an innovative combination of acrobatics, music and dance, including everything from a human cannon ball to a climactic high-wire act, with our spectacular mountains as a backdrop.

Guitar Town

Copper Mountain, Aug. 14

4 p.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. The world's best guitarists come together for the 12th annual festival, with three days of free performances, guitar & songwriting workshops and kids music activities.
