Want to get the most bang for your buck when dining out during mud season? We've rounded up dining deals from all over Summit County that are easy on the wallet, as well as information about restaurant closures, so you can decide when to take advantage.

BRECKENRIDGE: DINING PASSPORT

The following dining deals are only available with a Breckenridge Restaurant Association Dining Passport. Passports are $10 each, are valid for two people (nontransferable) and are available at participating restaurants, as well as the Breckenridge Welcome Center, located at 203 S. Main St.

• Apres Handcrafted Libations (130 S. Main St.) is offering $1 off selected pints, all day, every day, from Friday, May 15, through Sunday, May 31. The bar is closed through Thursday, May 14.

• Briar Rose Chophouse (109 Lincoln Ave., (970) 453-9948) has a two-course menu for $35 through Sunday, May 17, followed by 2-for-1 entrees with the purchase of a bottle of wine or an appetizer or a dessert from Monday, May 18, through Thursday, June 11. The promotions are available in the saloon or dining room, and reservations for the dining room are highly recommended.

Hearthstone Restaurant (130 S. Ridge St., (970) 453-1148) will be serving its Best of Season Menu, a three-course dinner for $30, Thursday through Sunday through Thursday, June 11. The restaurant also has 2-for-1 entrees Monday through Wednesday.

• Jake's Dive Bar (100 N. Main St., (970) 547-0110) has buy one, get one free on your first drink through Thursday, June 11 (some restrictions apply). The bar is open at 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon Friday through Sunday, and the kitchen is closed for the spring.

• At Kenosha Steakhouse (301 S. Main St., (970) 453-7313), buy one full-price barbecue platter and receive the second platter for 50 percent off through Thursday, June 11. The restaurant opens daily at 11:30 a.m.

Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina (600 S. • Modis (113 S. Main St., (970) 453-4330) will be serving a three-course menu of its Colorado contemporary cuisine for $33 and half-price select bottles of wine Thursday, May 28, through Thursday, June 11. The restaurant is closed through Wednesday, May 27, and on Mondays thereafter. Happy hour starts at 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Some restrictions apply; ask server for details.

• At Park & Main Quality Food (500 S.
