The Goat Tavern hosts Salem with Supervention film on Friday, Dec. 11. Salem has been touring throughout North America at festival, club and action sports events from the group's home in Breckenridge. The band performs Todd Anders Johnson's socially-conscious compositions blending hip-hop, jazz and funk.

Harmonious Junk returns with local favorite Jessica Jones on Friday, Dec. 11 to the Snake River Saloon. Harmonious Junk is a Denver-based rock group fusing jazz, funk, progressive and improvisational styles led by former James Brown lead guitarist Damon Wood. The band was voted best Jamband by Westword magazine in 2005 and plays 60 to 80 Colorado shows per year. Jessica Jones is a soul singer with roots in jazz, funk, blues, R&B, rock and hip-hop. Two bands in one night

The Barkley Ballroom in Frisco will host Unlimited Aspect and SoDown on Saturday, Dec. 12. Unlimited Aspect is the collaboration of two Denver producers, Unlimited Gravity & Project Aspect. The project has grown into being a live bass music band with added drummer Steven Kuzma and other guest musicians. Along his journey, SoDown has topped charts on many blogs, including his most recent successes on Dubstep.net in which his tracks "Babylon Stomp" and "Bright Lights" ranked No. 2 for the week. Bandits return to Snake River Saloon

Bandits return to Keystone at Snake River Saloon on Saturday, Dec. 12. Led by the unmatched chemistry of brother/sister John and Lulu Demitro, and driven by the eruptive drumming of Andrew Oakley, Bandits have, "managed to enter a higher society of artistry by discharging a brand unlike any others in the provincial industry." Local artist plays for Georgetown Market Christmas Pageant

Summit musician Carey Robinson will play Lucha Cantina in Georgetown from 6–9 p.m. for the annual Georgetown Market Christmas Pageant. The event goes all day with sleigh rides, a children's choir and see Old St. Nick at Georgetown shops.

EDM showcase at Barkley's

Majin Boom, DJ Diabeats, DJ WaY uP HigH and special guests will perform at The Barkley Ballroom on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Doors open for the full night of electronic dance music at 8:30, free.

Uptown Toodeloo String Band

The Barkley Ballroom presents Uptown Toodeloo String Band on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The Uptown Toodeloo String Band is a mostly acoustic project performing the music of the Grateful Dead infused with high-energy bluegrass jams and powerful vocals. The Barkley Ballroom will bring back Vine Street Vibes and Greener Grounds for a free show on Thursday, Dec. 17. Vine Street Vibes is dedicated to delivering a unique performance that pushes the boundary between electro-funk and instrumental dance jams. Greener Grounds is a new up and coming jam band fresh out of the heart of the Colorado jam scene in Denver. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
