Grateful Bluegrass Boys, 9 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, Frisco. Performing the music of the Grateful Dead and other classic rock through a bluegrass lens, featuring members of Hot Buttered Rum, David Thom Band and more. $8-$10

The Freddy Jones Band, 7–9 p.m., Dillon Amphitheater, Dillon. Freddy Jones Band is best known for their steady success at radio with No. 1 hits like "In A Daydream" and "Take The Time" from the Capricorn Records era, and their relentless tour schedule and legendary live performances. Free.

DooWop Denny, 4–7 p.m., Blue Spruce, Frisco. A lifelong musician, he draws from a deep vein of '50s/'60s/'70s rock 'n' roll history to deliver an authentic, high-energy show. Free.

Wednesday, Aug. 3

Evergreen Grass Band, 9 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, Frisco. The six members of the band, including Chicago import Steve Bateman (harmonica), gathered their traditional bluegrass instruments and grew into one of the most sought after non-traditional bluegrass acts on the Northwood's musical frontier.
