Met Opera Live in HD – ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’ and ‘Pagliacci’

10 a.m., Colorado Mountain College, 107 Denison Placer Road. The Metropolitan Opera, National Repertory Orchestra, Colorado Mountain College and Lake Dillon Theatre Company join forces to bring you another season of the Metropolitan Opera Live in HD. Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana Ruggero Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci. Prologue and Epilogue Series begins at 10 a.m. $10 students, $16 seniors and $20 adults.

1 p.m., Breckenridge Arts District, 110 E. Washington Ave. Learn a variety of methods to create artists books and sketchbooks. Three types of books will be produced including an accordion fold, pamphlet stitch and a Coptic stitch book. $65, includes all materials. (970) 453-3187.

Wilderness First Aid Course

Breckenridge, April 25

8 a.m., Carter Park, 300 S. High St. The Breckenridge Recreation Center and Desert Mountain Medicine team up to offer you a chance to become certified in Wilderness First Aid. The emphasis of the class is on recognizing and treating life-threatening traumatic and medical emergencies, common wilderness injuries, bandaging and splinting, and environmental injuries. American Heart Association CPR is included in the curriculum.

Donation-only Yoga Class

Dillon, April 25

9 a.m., Peak Yoga Studio, 256 Dillon Ridge Road. Align & Flow. This is a true all-levels class. An excellent option for both new yogis and seasoned practitioners, this class will build strength, flexibility and knowledge. All of the money raised in this class will be donated to Keystone Science School. Suggested donation is $10.
