Art Show
Breckenridge, every day
All Day, Arts Alive gallery, 500 S. Main St. La Cima Mall. Arts alive is having an All Media Three Dimensional Invitational Show. This special show for the month of June will highlight 3-D works in fiber, clay, jewelry, weavings, and glass. The artist of the month is watercolorist, Emily Wahl. Her show is featuring her Mountain Escapes works. The opening reception for both shows is Saturday, June 13, 4-8 p.m.
Pastels, Polish dresses and jewelry
Frisco, every day
All Day, The Art Forum at Summit County Commons, 37 Peak One Drive. This month features beautiful jewelry by local bead artist Cheri Breeman and by pastel artist Susan Venier. Also on display are traditional Polish folk costumes, brightly colored and decorated with embroidery. The yearlong exhibit shows works from Tim Adrian, Paula Kraemer, Joe Wakeman and others.
Horsing Around – Family Fun Day

10 a.m., Breckenridge Equestrian Center, 710 Wellington Road. Join the Far View Horse Rescue for a day of fun. Barney Ford Victorian Home
Breckenridge, May 31
11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Barney Ford Victorian Home, 111 East Washington Ave. The Barney Ford House Museum honors the escaped slave who prospered and became a prominent entrepreneur and black civil right leader in Colorado.
Edwin Carter Discovery Center
Breckenridge, May 31
11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Edwin Carter Discovery Center, 111 North Ridge St. Explore the home and museum of Edwin Carter, miner turned taxidermist and naturalist. View many original Rocky Mountain specimens and enjoy interactive displays honoring Carter’s legacy.
