Lantgtang, Nepal Fundraising: Pinebeetles, Leon Littlebird and Friends

Frisco, June 10

6 p.m., Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy's Place. A fundraiser for a Nepalese village, Langtang. Doc PJ helped build a clinic here and sponsored a student through medical school. It was destroyed in the Earthquake. An evening of music, food/beverage, live/silent auction. Proceeds go through Doctors to the World.

Lunchtime Lecture Series

noon, Frisco Historic Park & Museum, 1 Main St. Join the Town of Frisco's Historic Park & Museum for a weekly guest lecture series every Wednesday this summer. Lectures are approximately one hour long.

Tallgrass

Frisco, June 10

9 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, 610 Main St. Tallgrass comes armed with gravel road vocals, quick-picked guitar and banjo and a rhythm section with stomping ground sound. Free show.

Summit Trail Running Series Race #1

Breckenridge, June 10

6 p.m., Breckenridge Recreation Center, 880 Airport Road. Explore the trails near French Gulch this summer at the first race of the 14th annual Summit Trail Running Series. The race features a 5K short course and an 8K long course. There are no aid stations on the course – this Series is cup-free. Participants must bring a reusable water bottle. Register for $22 by noon Wednesday, June 10. The same-day registration fee is $25. The fee for ages 10-17 is $5.
