Summit Trail Running Series Race #5

Breckenridge, Aug. 12

6 p.m., Breckenridge Recreation Center, 880 Airport Road. Explore the trails above Carter Park this summer at Race #5 of the 14th annual Summit Trail Running Series. Race #5 is Carter Park with a 8K short course and 14K long course. There are no aid stations on the course – this Series is cup-free. Participants must bring a reusable water bottle. Register for $22 by noon Wednesday. The same-day registration fee is $25. The fee for ages 10-17 is $5. Race after-party location TBA. (970) 453-1734.

Lunchtime Lecture Series

Noon, Frisco Historic Park & Museum, 1 Main St. Join the Town of Friscos Historic Park & Museum for a weekly guest lecture series every Wednesday this summer. Lectures are approximately one hour long.

Author Discusses ‘Between Families’ for CASA of the Continental Divide
