Salsa night! Both Chips & Dancing

Dillon, Aug. 18

6 p.m., Lake Dillon Amphitheater, West Lodgepole St. The town of Dillon and Summit Swing are hosting a fundraising dance to benefit the Early Intervention Program, a program that serves preschool children with developmental delays. The evening begins with a free salsa lesson taught by Jenn Shimp at 6 p.m. Chips and salsa are available for a donation to the program. From 7 p.m. to 8:30, there will be general dancing to a variety of music. For more information, call (970) 468-4876.



USA Pro Challenge

Copper Mountain, Aug. 18

5:30 p.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. Copper Mountain plays host to its first ever US Pro Challenge – also known as Americas Race – and sends off Stage 3 in style. Free live entertainment with festival in full swing on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
