Billabong, Element, and Under Armour Trunk Show

Breckenridge, Aug. 25

1 p.m., Breckenridge Christian Ministries (BCM Building), 103 Sawmill Road. Billabong/Element / Under Armour show with mens, ladies & kids apparel & accessories for summer & fall. Proceeds to benefit SCY – Summit County Youth.

Dillon Elementary Dinner & Dance Fundraiser

Dillon, Aug. 25

5:30 p.m., Lake Dillon Amphitheater, W. Lodgepole St. The town of Dillon and Summit Swing dance will host a fundraiser for the Dillon Elementary School and El Grito del Valle (Shout from the Valley). The celebration begins at 5:30 with dinner from Tacos and Tequilas which includes quesadillas, rice, beans, galletas de nuez (nut cookies) and agua de fresca (strawberry water). A free dance lesson begins at 6 p.m. and open dancing is from 7-8:30 p.m. Admission is free and food is available for a donation of your choice. For info about the dance, call (970) 468-4876.

7 p.m., Frisco Historical Park, 120 Main St. Benefit concert for Friends of the Dillon Ranger District.

Historic Walking Tour

11 a.m. & 1:30 p.m., Breckenridge Welcome Center, 203 S Main St. Take a tour through Breckenridge’s nationally recognized historic district. Along the way hear stories of the rough, the tough and adventurous souls seeking their fortune. Adults $10; Children $5. Reservations not required.
