The Summit County Library in connection with the adult fall reading program is hosting its first Brown Bag Lunchtime Matinee series starting Friday, Oct. 2 at noon in the Main Branch in Frisco. The featured presentations are from books to movies, and the first movie is "To Kill a Mockingbird" with Gregory Peck and Robert Duvall.

Explosion of Colors

Frisco, everyday

0037 Peak One Drive, The Art Forum at the second level of the County Commons building. Explosion of Colors shows photography, mosaic art, paintings and mixed-media fiber art by Jamie Callahan, Christina Davis, Abbe Gold, Michele Hardy, Bill Linfield, Bill Novak, Diana “Rocket” Nelson, Katie Romanoski and Susan Simon. Also on display are traditional dresses by the Mexican community in Summit County.

Senior Tennis Court Time

Breckenridge, Oct. 3 & 4

10:30 a.m. (Oct. 3), 12 p.m. (Oct.4), Breckenridge Recreation Center, 880 Airport Road. Senior players have two hours of private court time for round robin doubles play Saturdays and Sundays throughout the Fall. Call in early to secure a spot – play is limited to the first 10 players who register. Please pay $10 fee upon arrival at the Breckenridge Recreation Center Front Desk.

Climbing Club

Master Gardener Series

9 a.m., Summit County Library, 37 Peak One Drive. Summit County Library ends the Master Gardener series with the last workshop. Spring Blooming Bulb: a Primer, from 9 a.m. in the Mt. Royal Room. The workshop is free to all participants. Bring your questions and our Master Gardners will help you get ready for fall.
