Monday night potlucks at Broken Compass Brewing are back. Monday night potlucks start at 7 p.m. The brewery gives people's choice awards for first, second and third each week. The prizes are: a 64-oz growler for first, a 32-oz growler for second and a pint for third.

The Horse Whisperer

11 a.m., Arts Alive, 500 S. Main St. La Cima Mall. Arts Alive September exhibition is “The Horse Whisperer.” The gallery has partnered with the Far View Horse Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. Additionally, our featured artists for the month of September are Jon Hans & Deborah Young, with a show titled “Branches-Connections in Art.”

Explosion of Colors

Explosion of Colors shows photography, mosaic art, paintings and mixed-media fiber art by Jamie Callahan, Christina Davis, Abbe Gold, Michele Hardy, Bill Linfield, Bill Novak, Diana “Rocket” Nelson, Katie Romanoski and Susan Simon. Also on display are traditional dresses by the Mexican community in Summit County.
